Overview
The CardioInsight Noninvasive 3-D Mapping System by Medtronic is an advanced technology for electrophysiology. It uses a disposable, 252-electrode vest to gather cardiac electrophysiological data from the body surface. This data is then combined with a patient's cardiac CT scan to create and display simultaneous, 3-D maps of both atria and ventricles. It allows physicians to map arrhythmias without the need for an invasive catheter-based procedure.
